ASIC has been formed to bring independent information to both the student population and the wider Higher Education world, through its international accreditation service with well-defined and objective benchmarking.
ASIC is a UK Visas and Immigration approved accreditation body for the purposes of the Short-term study visa. ASIC has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 accredited certification in recognition of their commitment to high standards in its accreditation process and internal procedures. ASIC was assessed and met the requirements of ISO9001:2015 for the following scope of operations: ‘Accreditation for education institutions in the UK and Worldwide’.
ASIC will be working in partnership with IIC to provide inspection and auditing services to the Saudi Arabian Government, to ensure that Their sponsored students attend only high-quality institutions overseas. ASIC will also be undertaking, in partnership with IIC, inspector training programs for Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These trained inspectors will be responsible, under the guidance of IIC and ASIC, for the quality assurance inspection and monitoring of its schools, language schools, colleges and Universities.

Gulf Education Conference 2013 was held on 19th – 20th June 2013 at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London. The Gulf Education Conference provides one of the best avenues to explore potential partnerships in the education sector. ASIC were proud to receive a Gulf Education Recognition Award at the recent Gulf Education conference held this year in London. Chairman Mr Maurice Dimmock and CEO Mr Lee Hammond were there to receive the award for “Commitment to Raising the Level of Education Experiences for all via Implementation of International Accreditation.”
The European Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education was established in 2000 to promote European co-operation in the field of quality assurance. ENQA is a membership association and its members are quality assurance agencies operating in Higher Education in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
ASIC are affiliates of ENQA. Affiliate bodies are bona fide organisations or agencies with a demonstrable interest in the quality assurance of higher education.
The U.S. Department of Education does not accredit educational institutions and/or programs and therefore it is not obligatory to get accreditation and it depends on the universities' decision whether they endeavor to earn them. AUBSS is not accredited by an accreditation agency recognized by the US Department of Education (Note: In the United States, many licensing authorities are required to recognize eligibility for accredited titles. In some cases, accredited universities may not accept subjects or education gained at non-accredited universities. Also, some employers may require a state accredited title to acknowledge the eligibility for employment.)
